Well, here we are again. A month and quite a bit of progress later. I know y’all aren’t here for my suuuuuper interesting intro, so let’s jump right into things!

This one should be pretty short and sweet, but don’t let that fool you. We’ve gotten a LOT done.

Let’s start with art!

Art

All the full CGs for Scout Squabble are complete. Soul is finishing up the final 2 mini CGs, then after that the only sizable art assets left for the episode are the BGs (which already exist in WIP form, so we can jump straight into knocking them out once the mini CGs are done.)

So, art is 100% on track!

Music

Rodrick has a couple more tracks to knock out before release, but he’s actively working on it and it’s getting knocked out!

Not really sure what else to say on the matter if I’m being honest. Music is going good!

Writing

The writing for the episode has been fun. I’m on the last little bit now. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed writing this one and I hope y’all enjoy it too. I’ve said it before, but this episode covers quite a bit of stuff going on.

Meanwhile, in Lyoko— programming news!

Irrelevant has been trying out some new effects for some scenes in the new episode and it’s turning out great so far. Other than that, the last month has really just been improving on what’s already there, getting stuff together for the test group, and the two of us coordinating on stuff for the episode.

Everything is going smoothly and barring any future complications we’re still on track for a release in August!

Everything is going well, the team has been putting assets together. Character models, backgrounds, UI stuff, etc. and we’ll be making an Itch.io page for it before too long.
