Oh look, a Devlog!
Aaaaaand we’re over halfway through July…time is weird. Anyway! We thought we ought to get a devlog together so y’all didn’t think we fell off the face of the Earth. Let’s jump right into the meat of things, huh?
So, first and foremost: G v X 2 (ya know…the episode we pushed back) we’re currently on the tail end of development. We’re getting the last few pieces of art and music in place, and the animation is coming along really well. Our test group has been giving us some solid feedback throughout the process (thanks, dudes) and we’re really excited to show y’all what we’ve been working on.
Let’s break it down a little!
Art and animation
Like I said up above, we’re finalizing the last few bits of art and getting the animation polished and set. All backgrounds, character sprites and additional sprites needed for release are completed. Soul is hard at work on the CGs now and JumpJump is actively knocking out the animation. So that’s all going great!
Music
Rodrick has gotten several great tracks for this episode done already and is working on the final 2 now. (He also provided the additional sprites for this episode.) So all that stuff is on track and doing fine.
Dork stu—Programming
Irrelevant is currently updating the galleries, changing up the font and getting a gallery set up for animations. He also went back through the demo content and touched up some of the scenes to be a bit smoother and more on par with our current work.
Writing
I’m writing a devlog so y’all don’t think we fell of the face of the—oh. Right. I’ve enjoyed writing this episode. Introducing new characters is always fun and as always I love me some character interactions. I’m touching up the final scenes of the episode right now…like…literally. Right now. Other than that I’m not really sure what to say about my end of things. (Some word guy, right?)
Release date info (because I know you’re wondering.)
We don’t have a set in stone release date put in place for G v X 2, but the way things are going I feel pretty confident in saying that it’ll definitely be SOONER rather than later.
I think that about wraps it up, y’all. As always if you have any questions feel free to ask and if you’re in the discord server you know you can always hit up the QNA channel with whatever you might have.

Thank you for the new Devlog. Love what's been shared by Irrelevant and yourself in regards to the new episode. Honestly, I feel bad waiting, for and thoroughly enjoying something, without showing appreciation for the efforts 'behind the scenes'. So kudos to everyone there and if you guys have a tip jar, at least I'd feel less guilty. Don't forget to take a break and go out and enjoy the summer for a bit! But not too long!
Glad you’re excited, boss! Thanks for the comment! We’ve had a lot of fun working on this episode (we’re juuuuuuuuuust about done) and we’re excited to show y’all what we’ve been up to.
